We believe that Christ-like love demands that we give hands and feet to the mission of God in the world. Just as God showed his love for us by sending his son to die as payment for our sin, we are committed to showing our love by helping those in need who are the most vulnerable around us.
At Project Pure Religion, we believe that God has a unique love for widows and orphans. We also believe that it is our job as Christians to care for them in their need. In the US today, about 81.5% of single parent homes are headed by a single mom and almost 1 in 4 children are raised in a single parent household.
We look for ways to minister and care for these mothers and children while showing them the love of Jesus Christ.

At ChristWay, we believe we should tell everyone about the love of Jesus, but we must also show them His love with our actions. Jesus taught that giving even a cup of water in his name is important. He said, "Whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward." - Matthew 10:42
At ChristWay, we do our best to help those in our church family as well as those in our community who have needs that we can meet in a tangible way. Like a cup of cold water, we believe these simple acts of love are not insignificant to the work of the kingdom of God.
ChristWay Baptist Church supports national pastors via CORE Missions. We believe that the most effective way to reach countries with the gospel is to support passionate and faithful pastors who are from the nation they are reaching for Christ. We have partnered with CORE Missions because they share this philosophy of missions and are committed to giving 100% of all donations directly to support each national pastor. We also partner with CORE Missions to support men who will do the work of training national pastors.
We also believe strongly in the effectiveness of spreading the gospel through media outlets via Christian Media International (CMI). We are so happy to partner with them to reach the world for Jesus Christ.
Navigating faith, friends, and family can be a challenge for many teenagers. Our goal at ChristWay is to equip our teenagers (sixth through 12th grade) with the tools necessary to find their way in an increasingly godless world. Our core desire is for our teenagers to develop a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ that drives them to glorify Him with their lives. We don't want to teach your teenager what to think. We want to help teach them how to think about life, the future, and faith from a Christian worldview.
Each Sunday, at 9:30 am, our teens meet in the garage for a time of prayer and Bible study. These Sunday meetings strengthen our teens' faith and love for God so that they are prepared for the challenges of the week ahead.
During our morning service (10:30 am) teens participate in the main service with the adults in the auditorium.
And Wednesdays from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm teens meet in the garage to pray with and for one another and discuss what they have learned throughout the week.
Launch! Kids is our interactive children’s program for children who are ages 2 years old through 5th grade. We lay a foundation of Bible stories, theology, and practical applications that all point to Jesus Christ. We aim to equip our children with a broad Bible knowledge that they will later use in our Teen Kingdom Seekers program.
When You Visit
9:30 AM - Launch! Kids - Children meet downstairs for Sunday school. Activities include games for those who arrive early, spiritual songs, and a Bible lesson focusing on the gospel of Jesus Christ.
What Will My Child Learn?
During Launch! Kids, children are taught a gospel-centered lesson from our Gospel Project curriculum. Our goal is for your entire family to experience and meditate on Bible truths, and to then talk about the lessons on your way home and throughout the week. The Gospel Project immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.
During Launch! Kids, children are taught using various sensory mediums including video, activity pages, games, story-telling, Scripture reading, and Bible memory.

Safety
The physical safety of children is paramount to us at ChristWay. Jesus Christ issued stern warnings and condemnation for people who injure children. All of our adult volunteers are screened for federal, state, and county violations by SafeHiringSolutions.com. In 2019, we are starting First Aid and CPR training for all of adult volunteers.
